As the Enhancing Profit Practice Leader at Whitman Advisory, David Kells provides succession planning strategies for CPAs and CPA firms, drawing on more than 35 years of financial and professional services expertise. His background includes 17 years with international banks, where he led operational activities and system integrations. David later transitioned to professional services, managing operations, human resources, internal finance, and insurance coverage at a top U.S. accounting firm.
As Chief Operating Officer, David was a key member of the senior management team that oversaw tremendous firm growth in revenue, personnel, and physical footprint. His ability to align operational functions with profitability and transition goals provides clients with a clear path to success. David holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Muhlenberg College and has completed Executive Education coursework in Leadership & Managing People at Columbia University.
