Barry Wagman is a Director of Mergers & Acquisition at Whitman Advisory, and has dedicated his entire career to the CPA profession. His deep industry knowledge is built upon more than 25 years in public accounting, where he rose to become the Managing Partner for a 125-person regional CPA firm.
Following his successful tenure, Barry transitioned to an executive search and consulting firm that served Big 4, regional, and local CPA firms. There, he sharpened his expertise in talent acquisition, M&A, and practice management consulting. Barry has been highly active in the New York State Society of CPAs, serving on and chairing several committees. This experience provides him with a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing firm leaders. With a primary focus on Long Island and a strong network across New York City, New Jersey, and Florida, Barry guides firms through mergers, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from New York University.
